If you are interested in using Canvas next Winter or Spring I encourage you to enroll now as there are limited seats available. In order to use Canvas for the Winter 2017 session you must complete Canvas training by the end of October 2016. To use Canvas for Spring 2017 you must complete the training by the end of November 2016.

Dr. Pacansky-Brock is a noted leader in higher education. Michelle has more than 15 years of experience teaching diverse students in California’s community college system in face-to-face, blended, and online environments. She was the recipient of the Sloan-C/OLC Online Teaching Excellence Award and served as conference chair for the 8th Annual OLC International Symposium of Emerging Technologies for Online Learning. While she is a teacher at heart, Michelle currently provides support and professional development to online and blended faculty at CSU Channel Islands — from a distance — and is teaching a blended course in Digital Citizenship for first year transfer students.
