Tuesday, November 24, from 3-4:30pm 

Accessible Canvas Page Design |Register for FLEX!

By the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

·         use the Rich Content Editor to create a content page that is easy for all students to navigate; 

·         use headings to create a structured page that is easy for all students to navigate; 

·         use bulleted and numbered lists when appropriate; 

·         use color wisely; 

·         create meaningful links to web resources both within and outside our courses; 

·         provide alternative text for images; 

·         create tables that are navigable for all students.

Accessible Document Design |Register for FLEX!

By the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

·         determine when documents can and should be used in an online course; 

·         create accessible Word, Google, PowerPoint, and pdf documents; 

·         determine the accessibility of existing documents.

Accessible Video Design |Register for FLEX!

By the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

·         assess the production quality of a video; 

·         caption a video; 

·         curate video resources;  

·         embed video in a Canvas Page.
