Canvas Training Flyer Summer 2016
CANVAS CERTIFICATION TRAINING FOR ONLINE AND HYBRID INSTRUCTORS!
Complete your Canvas Certification by participating in a three-week, hybrid instructional program which will introduce you to the Canvas online learning management system. In addition to learning about the tools and features in Canvas, you will also start to develop your first online or hybrid class. Participants will have an opportunity to work face-to-face with a certified Canvas trainer combined with the flexibility of working online in between class meetings.
The training consists of weekly on-campus sessions in addition to 5 – 7 hours of work online each week. This gives you a flexible schedule and the opportunity to experience what it is like to be an online student!
Choose ONE of these three options:

NEW! CANVAS ENHANCED CERTIFICATION TRAINING FOR ON-CAMPUS INSTRUCTORS!
Enhance your on-campus instruction using the College’s new Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas. Participating in this one-day instructional program will introduce you to Canvas’s tools and features enabling you to develop web-enhanced classes. Participants will work face-to-face with a certified Canvas trainer in this on-campus workshop.

These classes will be facilitated by Jim Marteney, an experienced online instructor and Canvas Trainer. “I know many of you are nervous about moving from Etudes to Canvas, but don’t worry. We will build on our knowledge of Etudes. Starting with how you use Etudes and then explore how the same functions are used in Canvas. I look forward to seeing you in the training programs.”
