Wayfinding Online: Navigating the Virtual Landscape Together

Zoom Session Schedule

8.3.20 – 8.7.20

Dear 3CSN Wayfinding Community,
We hope you are doing well and staying safe.
As we move forward to our first week of August, we are offering some exciting sessions to help us all get ready.
Some highlights: Eddie Tchertchian, Math Department Chair at Los Angeles Pierce College, will give us tips and new perspectives in his presentation, “Rethinking STEM Assessment Online,” and Debbie Raucher of John Burton Advocates for Youth (JBAY) will center foster and unhoused students in her presentation, “Making Equity Real: Supporting Students with Experience in Foster Care or Homelessness,” and Los Angeles Pierce College peer educators will guide us through making our own videos (tutor-focused, but all are welcome!).
And don’t miss out on our “greatest hits”: 3CSN coordinator Joanna Zimring Towne will help us teleport through Zoom Breakout Rooms and create effective polls in her “Zoom 102: Using Breakout Rooms & Polls Intentionally” session, and Josh Miller, Los Angeles Valley College Communications Studies Chair, is back to share his wealth of knowledge in our 90-minute “Learn & Practice- Canvas 102: Modules” session.
